Ken hadn't seen Mamoru in that last, final fight with Epitaph. His skills were as sharp as ever, and he could stalk his lover from the shadows.

Ken was busy with the body of his latest victim, the heavy corpse cradled almost gently in his strong arms. It looked almost like a peaceful scene until Ken laid the body down and stood, the blood dripping from his gloves and clothes. he glanced around, then moved back to the street.

For this fight, Mamoru'd left his darts at home. Instead, he had his crossbows, and the arrows were tipped with a sleeping draught. He sent the first one past Ken's ear and into the side of a building. A warning.

Ken smirked and glanced over his shoulder, eyes finding his former lover without a problem. Laughing softly, he shook his head, then took off, the dark clothes melting into the shadows as he silently thanked God he'd remembered to leave that damn orange shirt back at the apartment.

Mamoru's eyes were just as sharp, and he sprinted after Ken, crossbow aimed on him.

"Come back now, Ken."

"I don't think so."

He ducked to one side, intent on slipping Underground because he knew the younger man wouldn't have the advantage there. He would.

"Why can't you just leave me alone? I'm happy like this."

Mamoru's mouth quirked up bitterly. "Since when have I cared if you were happy?"

"Yeah, I'm just a tool for you now that you're Persia. A talented weapon. Screw you."

Grinning like a maniac, he slipped into a nice dark spot, head ducked so he could slide into the back way he'd found Underground.

Mamoru chuckled a little, cocking his head to the side.

"I'll make a deal with you, Siberian."

He paused, fists balled to keep his claws freed even though he didn't move back towards the other man.

"... talk."

He might have let the madness have him for now, but there was still a small part of him that trusted Mamoru.

Mamoru stepped forward so that Ken could see him fully.

"You don't kill anyone else until Monday, and you can do whatever you'd like with me, instead."

Ken's lips curled up into a slow, mad grin before he stepped back, letting the shadow hide him away.

"You don't understand, Persia. You don't. It feels so good.... it's like a drug. Like... like Yotan with his cigs. I know it's bad for me but it feels wonderful."
