[It isn't long before Mara can throw a bag of things together and she's at Ken's door in less than half an hour. She taps on the door a few times.]

Ken? It's me.

[There's a bark before Ken cracks the door open. Once he sees it's Mara, he's quick to push his eager dog out of the way before she can escape, then opens the door wider to let his company in.]

Hey. Don't mind Bandit. She's been wanting out all day.

[She smiles as she walks in, a bag in her arms.]

[Just the mention of a walk makes the dog in question bark again and start to bounce around their legs. Ken spares a sigh and an eyeroll before he nudges the hyper animal away from the door yet again.]

She's been out three times. I think she just wants to make me be the one to take her.
