"That's not the exact word I used," Anthony tells him. Because he said the food is bland, not gross.

"What's your name?" He asks instead.

The boy waves his comment away with a flick of his hand as he pads back to sit on the couch, reaching for the dozing cat on the opposite arm.

"'m Ken, and bland food is gross food. Same thing."

Telling a kid that normally he was a police officer in a magical City didn't seem like the thing to do. Then again, he might've freaked Ken out a bit, and that was not a good thing.
