Seems like it's one of those weird ass weekends. Thanks City. Fuck you too.
Ken hadn't left the hospital since he'd carried a much smaller Aya in. He'd paced and snapped at the nurses and been a general pain in the ass, but that was just Ken's way. Thankfully, if anyone else was around or when Aya was his younger self, he'd managed to behave himself, mostly. That didn't mean he was any less sullen.
Of course, anyone that knew him know it was a sure sign of his concern.]
[ooc: The action is forward dated to after midnight. Aya's back to his older self. ^^]

[She can't smack him for his language like when he was her son but it is a hint that something's wrong.]
voice
... sorry for the language.
[See mom? He remembers getting smacked!]
voice
It's fine. I think the occasion calls for it. [She might haves used some foul language for that kind of situation too.]

One of these days, I'm going to see just how far into the deity office I can get.

Okay, so I couldn't decide what to get so I just got one of everything, plus coffee for everyone cause hyper in a hospital? That's a good thing to be. Also, I had to fight some lady for the last large coffee cup, you should have seen that! We drew a crowd and I was like nosy much? But I went all mini!not!Slayer on her and I am triumphant. Three large coffees and...
[She dumps the plethora of sweets at the foot of Aya's hospital bed.] Lots of stuff to choose from.

Not much stuff that's good for a body there.

[She picks up a chocolate cupcake and opens the plastic wrapper on it.] You should have some too.

...I'm sorry. [It sounds like such a small thing to say after what happened.]
[voice]
I'm sorry I wasn't there when you woke up. I haven't been home all night.
[voice]
Did something else happen? [Of course it did on a weekend like this, but... Well, something Ken would be involved with.]
