Okay, that... kinda sucked. Still kinda sucks. Hey Aya, d'you mind taking care of Bandit for a couple days?
[police filer]
Dean... don't shine lights in my eyes again. They're still there, you jerk. Not as bright as last night, though. Where did Sorrow end up?
Justin... you okay? Oh, and tell Beckett that I'm behaving in here. I don't want to be yelled at. My head hurts way too much for that.
[/police filter]
.... shit, they're comin' back... -CLICK-
[ooc: Feel free to visit Ken in the hospital. He'll be a little woozy but he'll be happy for the company! ^^]

[police filter]
I'll pass that on to Beckett.
[police filter]
Thanks. I don't wanna get yelled at.
[police filter]
I doubt you'll get yelled at as long as you stay where you are.
[police filter]
... I'm a bit more scared of Aya than of Beckett.

That someone is standing in your doorway. Said consult has been rescheduled.]
Are you alright to have visitors?
[action]
Do you think I'd let them tell me no?
[action]
I'd listen, they're the doctors, not me.
[She looks him over, her eyes a little unfocused.]
It's not fatal, whatever you did, what happened, Ken? The woman at the desk wouldn't tell me.
[action]
[He drags his gaze over to her, watching her for a long moment.]
I'll be out in a few days at most. Nothing more than a concussion and a messed up shoulder.

Once she arrived she wasn't sure whether the doctors were too intimidated by her determination to deny her entry or if she was lucky enough to arrive during the visits schedule. Not that she minded at all.
Now she enters Ken's room quietly, not wanting to bother her friend if he happens to be asleep or sedated.]
...Ken...
action;
... you plannin' on yellin' at me?
action;
[But there's a problem: her best stern glare would fail in the face of such a situation. At the time all Umi can think of is exactly by how little are they lucky to say Ken's alive.
So instead of her usual bossy expression he gets a fake-peeved smile which is more fond than anything, as she comes closer to sit by his bedside.]
But that'll have to come later. There's no point when you might well doze off on me.

Is there a reason you're calling people instead of resting?
