Umi, the muffins were really good. Think you could teach me how to make them?

Aya, are you up for patrol tonight? My head is killing me.

Aya, are you up for patrol tonight? My head is killing me.

"You need a doctor."
action
"Go away."
action
"He's irritable too."
action
"Aya, would you get the doctor, please?"
action
"Look, I'll be fine in a couple of days. I just need some sleep."
action
action
Omi wet the towel, laying it across Ken's brow gently before pressing the pill and water into his hand.
action
"I'm fine."
action
"He's on his way."
action
Omi sat on the edge of the bed, wringing his hands.
action
His eyes were closed now, so there wasn't anymore glaring going on, but there was soft menace in his voice.
action
One that was close and good enough with what he did. Not someone he trusted but he had an easier time trusting people with his injuries compared to his secrets.
action
The message had been brief, as always. Not that Solomon expected anything more from him by now. A roommate had taken ill... something that might not have raised any red flags except that this was from a man who had waited until he was in a dire condition before calling a doctor in to tend to his wounds.
Considering that, the roommate must be in pretty bad shape for him to have been called in. It was what he was expecting anyway...
Raising his fist, he knocked on the door.]
action
Leaving Omi and Ken in the room, he went to the door and answered it. He looked far better than he had when he'd seen this man last.
He was also ready to attack until he saw who it was.
Nodding politely, he opened the door and let him come in. Once he was, he shut it and led the way to where Solomon's 'patient' was.

action
"I don't need a doctor, Aya. Get rid of him."
action
Having a cheerful bedside manner was required for anyone in medicine. A natural ability of his that made him perfect for such an profession.
Crossing the room with his bag, he knelt down beside the patient.
action
Right now, he was the healthiest and most mended.
action
Ken was blunt, sometimes rude, but he was not mean. Even in his worst moods. Omi bit his lip worriedly, squeezing his friend's hand.
action
"I don't know him. Get him out of here."
action
Never flinching, Solomon kept the same gentle smile firmly affixed to his face. It wasn't unusual for some patients to be openly hostile considering how they were feeling. His voice, he kept soft, soothing...
"Look, I'm here because your friends are worried about you... what could it hurt, just to let me take a look at you for a few minutes?"
action
Aya had little patience for Ken's attitude.
action
For all his protests, Ken gave them all one last glare, then closed his eyes as if they'd all just leave when he did.
Re: action
"He's never like this. I'm sorry, sir."
action
"Can anyone tell me what symptoms he's been experiencing so far?"
[ooc: Solomon is using an ear thermometer on Ken.]
